August 2009
And we are back on the road to Oregon! This time it is an abbreviated crew and just for a week. Bobbie, Janne and Heather along with horses Sweet Caroline, Bling Bling and Doc Holliday are back in Wilsonville for the 'A' rated show at beautiful Hunter Creek. Sweet Caroline; with Bobbie in the irons had a great week winning in the baby green division and ending up reserve champion for the week. Bling Bling and Janne were fabulous and won their share in the AA hunter and Eq divisions. Heather took a spin around the jumper ring on Doc and won several of her classes. Heather also took the reins on Sweet Caroline in the Pre Adult divisions, winning reserve champion in the hunter division and champion in the Eq division.
We arrived home Monday and started making plans for the AQHA show that started Thursday here at the Idaho Center. Once again we were taking Dee Hinger and the lovely Della Do Right. Showing to a 4th place in the very competitive novice amateur division and a respectable reserve in the Select class, Dee did a great job and may have caught the horseshow bug!
It's hard to believe we are almost at the end of summer and school is getting ready to start, seems like a short time ago we had snow on the ground! Congratulations to all EA horses and riders on a very sucsessful and busy summer.
July 2009....
Summer finally reached us here in Idaho, after a long, cold and wet winter. After getting everybody legged up and show ready the crew headed down to Salt Lake City for a week long show on the polo field. However- the weather was terrible, raining us out everyday. We made the decision that it was just to wet and slick to show so we headed home.
We showed up at a little open show, bringing Dee Hinger and her lovely AQHA mare Della Do Right for a couple of western pleasure classes. This was the first show for Dee and she did great, placing in the large classes.
The following week we left for a series of shows in Oregon, the first two weeks in beautiful Wilsonville and the second two weeks in the desert city of Bend.
We had a great trip, winning our share of classes and primary colored ribbons! Janne and Bling brought home the championship week I of Wilsonville in the very competitive AA division and was also reserve champion in that division the first week of Bend.
Emily got her chance to get in the 3' ring aboard Doc Holliday- she placed well in the medals, equitation and in her hunter divisions.
Sweet Caroline had a great month on the road, placing very well in the baby green divisions all month and even taking a spin around the long stirrup ring for rider Paula Carollo. Paula won a couple classes in the division and was second in the classic on Sunday.
All horses and riders came home in great shape and after a few days to rest were back at it getting ready to head back to Oregon in August.

Happenings...
October 2008
Joining the EquineAbility team is the fabulous Bling Bling and his
owner, the equally fabulous Heather Christie! Janne Knight has leased
this fabulous Regular hunter and she and Bling will be partnered in the
AA hunter ring for the 2009 show season. Heather moved
to Boise in early October and although she has graciously turned over
the reins to this lovely horse, she will not be completely out of the show
ring- look for her to spin Bling around the AO hunters a few times during
the year. She may also be seen doing the adult medals on Doc Holliday,
her last trip to the ring with Doc earned her the win in the Adult medal
year end final for the Utah Hunter Jumper Association!
Emily Nicholas will be leasing Doc Holliday for the 2009 show season.
